I was able to visit a beautiful little sea side city called Den Helder where I spent a week creating this 3D painting of a tightrope stretched over a canal in the Netherlands. Unlike most of my street paintings this one was able to last (since it was painted in latex) for close to a year before being power washed off.

This 3D street painting depicts a boy using a crayon to build bridges between warring characters. I was invited to the World Street Painting Festival in Arnhem, Netherlands along with talented artists from across the world. I was honor to “represent” the United States among these talented artists from around the world.
The 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship came to St. Joseph, Michigan and I was able to be involved in creating 3D art in the entry way. I showcased Lake Michigan kiteboarding and the beauty of Harbor Shores.
Trying to make a bicycle in 3D big enough for a person to look they are riding is difficult! It was a fun challenge to work with those finicky ellipsis in Greenville, South Carolina for Artisphere. It was a great environment to chalk in. I used tempera paint as the base and built the chalk overtop. I had to deal with some rain for this event but was able to recover quite a bit from the rain.
Thankfully I created this piece in paint on canvas because there was rain the morning of the event for Daybreaker in the parking lot of a Target promoting their relationship with Hunter. Fun to return to an old standard with a wooden bridge over a hole in the ground. Thanks to Anat Ronen for letting me use her studio to create this piece.
