“Twin Peaks” Red Room Brought to Life in 3D Street Art Campaign

In anticipation of the upcoming season of “Twin Peaks,” Showtime has launched a new street art campaign inspired by the show. Street artists Leon Keer and Nate Baranowski were commissioned to create a 3D anamorphic Red Room.

SARASOTA (FOX13) - Nate Baranowski's studio is out in the elements. To reach his canvas, he needs some heavy machinery. The mural artist thinks big when it comes to his talents.

"It takes a lot of planning. It takes a lot of math to take a reference, grid it out small, and maybe one inch on your reference paper equals ten feet on a wall," Baranowski explained.

MASHABLE - The Daniels worked with artist Nate Baranowski to make sure every detail was perfect – and the whole project took him five days to paint.

Daniel told Mashable the painted windows on the wall are her favorite part. "The way Nate painted makes it look so real, even in person," she said.

 

Street painter adds new dimension to UWGB Student Union

Did you ever get so drawn into a painting where you almost felt like you we're a part of it?Well that was the goal for an artist as his painting slowly came to life on the floor of the student Union building.

Nate Baranowski, a 3D artist from Tampa, Florida was hired to make a street painting come to life in the Cloud Commons.  He created an underwater scene using only 5 colors of paint, mixing and matching, hoping to bring some color to the campus grounds.
